by Amanda Haar, Editor   Greetings, Thanks to the actions and choices of a number of political leaders and professional athletes, medical travel is garnering a good bit of media attention these days And while the coverage is no doubt serving to educate many who weren’t familiar with the notion of going abroad for care, it’s really the outcomes that will ultimately shape their opinions on the industry. I, for one, am extremely hopeful that each and every procedure provides the desired outcome and the patients are very vocal about the success. But while we wait for that, please enjoy Part Two of our conversation with Zachary Rozga of the Inter-American Development Bank in which he shares how the organization is weighing its approach to the industry. Another story worth your attention is one that has been unfolding across the sea. Two stories recently featured in the The International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ) have been generating a lot of conversation and concern within the industry. We’re grateful to Keith Pollard, Managing Director of Intuition Communications and publisher of the IMTJ, for allowing us to provide a link to the articles here. As always, we welcome your comments, story ideas, and press releases.   Cheers, Amanda Haar, Editor [email protected]
