BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.–October 13, 2011–Global Health Voyager, Inc. (OTCBB: GLHV), a full-service web-based medical tourism company, today announced a partnership withAssaf Harofeh Medical Center, an 800-bed facility and one of the largest hospitals in Israel offering traditional western medicine and a comprehensive range of medical-surgical services.

“Israel is a highly sought-after destination for medical care as well as tourism,” says Ali Moussavi, GHV president and CEO, noting thatIsrael is increasingly becoming a choice destination for medical tourists, with first-class health care facilities and services that are comparable to the U.S. and at significantly lower costs. “The GHV network continues to expand, offering institutions such as Assaf Harofeh that provide the highest standards of care.”

On a 60-acre campus located only 15 km from Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport, the hospital cares for a relatively large number of tourists offering pleasant and peaceful modern facilities. Year round 24-hour emergency services, intensive care, general medical, surgical, cardiac, pediatric, neonatal, gynecological and obstetric medical services as well as ambulatory psychiatric services are available.

“The addition of Assaf Harofeh is a critical move as Global Health Voyager continues to expand globally into an international medical management company,” says Moussavi.  “With 28 countries on four continents catering to the international health travel, and more than two million patients, this is a fast-growth industry with opportunities for GHV to fully capitalize on this explosive interest.”

The hospital is an academic teaching facility and is part of the Tel Aviv University Sackler Faculty of Medicine. All the clinical wards are accredited for specialist training by the Academic Council of The Israel Medical Association. The first and largest Academic Nursing School and the oldest School of Physiotherapy in Israel are located on the hospital grounds.
