by Amanda Haar, Editor   Greetings, For the first-time ever, both of our SPOTLIGHT stories deal with organizations focused on using the internet to provide consumers with a concise yet robust resource of options for their specific healthcare needs.  While one is specialty-driven and currently US-based, the other is global and all-encompassing in terms of type of care and location options. Despite the differences in approach, it appears both will be extremely effective at serving the needs of consumers and providers (i.e. win-win). And as a reminder, we are in the process of compiling a story on the changing roles of medical travel facilitators. (see box below this letter for more information.)
