International Board of Medicine and Surgery Releases Summary Findings of Medical Travel/Continuing

A recent survey conducted by the International Board of Medicine and Surgery (IBMS) confirmed that the IBMS community places a high priority on Continuing Medical Education (CME) for those involved in the medical travel industry. Results of the 14-question survey first distributed in March of this year revealed that respondents were most interested in seeing CME emphasizing or accrediting:

  • Emergency/complications/post-operative care
  • Discussion of potential complications and case reports
  • Standards for International Certification
  • Post-op/Pre-op Standards and Guidelines for International Provider
