Mapfre Assistance Offers Travel Assistance to the Clients of the Hungarian Oil Company MOL MAPFRE ASSISTANCE offers Travel Assistance to the clients of the MOL oil company in Hungary and its bordering countries. The company is seeking to establish a more solid relationship with its consumers through products of value that complement the range it already markets. To that end, last March an invitation to tender was published for providing a Travel Assistance service to its clients, and the chosen provider was MAPFRE ASSISTANCE. The insurance company focused its proposal on offering basic products with three-, five- and ten-day Travel Assistance packages, which are currently on sale at MOL petrol stations. These packages contain a security code, an Assistance card and the terms and conditions. Users can activate the service by telephone, entering the code provided. Client Attention centers will register the personal particulars of the clients and the pertinent details of the journey: conditions, identity card number, destination, etc. The service cover extends across the European territorial sphere, as well as encompassing Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Turkey. MAPFRE ASSISTANCE has opted for offering a product that is attractive for the beneficiary and easy to arrange. The launch of this new project took place in May at 100 petrol stations in the country’s major cities, such as Budapest, Szeged, Debrecen, Györ, Székesfehérvár, Pécs and Miskolc, as well as along the main roads of Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia and Romania. Founded in 1991, MOL is a large Hungarian oil company with 360 petrol stations in Hungary and a further 1,388 in countries such as Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Montenegro.
