Editor’s Note: One of Medical Travel Today’s favorite contributors, I. Glenn Cohen, recently had a paper published in The Virginia Journal of International Law. The article focuses on the concern that medical tourism reduces access to healthcare for the destination country’s poor and the suggestion that home country governments or international bodies have obligations to curb medical tourism or mitigate its negative effects when they occur.
